EEZ Training Coming Up in Albany!

On Thursday, November 6, 2014 from 10:00am to 2:30pm the NYIT Educational Enterprise Zone (EEZ) will be facilitating a face-to-face training at the Albany Institute of History and Art. The training will focus on the process for successfully planning and executing an interactive and engaging webinar using BlackBoard Collaborate or Safari Montage Live. We will be hosting another training at the NYIT campus in Manhattan that will also focus on webinar planning and execution. More information about that training will be available shortly.

Uncommon Approaches to the Common Core is an annual conference aimed at classroom teachers, school librarians, public librarians, academic librarians, public historians, and representatives from museums, archives, public television, NYS historic sites, performing arts and other cultural organizations.

The purpose is to develop understanding of the Common Core with the goal to create common skills, a common base of information and common language so that conference participants will be able to effectively support teachers, students (including English-language learners and children with special needs), and parents.
